General information of Montanita Ecuador

  • You can find one bank (Banco Bolivariano) open from Wednesday to Sunday (10:30 hs to 16 hs) and two ATM which suport the two net: Cirrus (Mastercard) and Plus (Visa)
  • The most importants commerces accept Credit Cards.
  • You can change Euros and Traveler Checks but there is no exchange agency.
  • You can rent or buy used surf tables (U$S 100 minimun)
  • You can eat for U$S2 and at night the offer is better and you can eat for U$S 1.5
  • If you want to eat at a good restaurant the minimum is U$S 4.
  • There are a lot of English Speakers at town and also French ones and from other Languagues (see Communities)
  • There is a lot of Design and exclusive Handicraft in Montanita.
